John's John Deere Tractors
The tractors in the above photo are collectable
except the 4650. The Gallentine "D" and the model "70"
are family tractors being owned by our family since
they were new and are considered memorials to past
generations. My grandchildren are the fourth generation
to drive them. These two tractors have not been
repainted; they are faded and worn as were their past
owners. These tractors are still in their work clothes
and I plan to leave them as they are. They are a
testament to past family member's hard work and
sacrifice. They are essentially the living history of
this farm. When I see them, I am reminded of my father
feeding cattle with the "70" or our kids driving the
"Old D" as we stacked bales.
In addition to the above tractors we have acquired
several additional classic restored John Deere
tractors which we enjoy showing in parades. Please scroll
down for pictures and information on the tractors and their history.
