1949 Model M

We purchased the M from Robert Beachel Norcatur, Kansas, in August of 2007.  He had obtained the tractor at a farm auction near Phillipsburg, Kansas, a few years prior.  He said it was a real basket case and began restoring it as he had time.  I overheard him comment that he was selling his tractor collection and the M was for sale.  After inspecting the tractor, we agreed to purchase it if he would finish the restoration including paint. When he finished we brought the tractor home. 

Robert is a very knowledgeable craftsman and his work shows his skill.  He is pictured standing on the trailer after loading the M for the trip home. I believe the tractor to be Expo Ready.  We are fortunate to own it.
