This standard (2 quart) size hot water bottle cover is wonderful for those cold winter nights. The simple cable pattern is on both sides and extends from the bottom up through the neck of the cozy.

 

Size: 7x10 inches plus a 3 inch neck

Yarn: 5 ˝ ounces worsted weight yarn (original was knit with Lion Brand Wool)

Needles: #8 U.S. (5 mm) 32 inch circular needle (for magic loop method) OR 4 or 5 double pointed needles.

Additional Materials:  Cable holder, Stitch marker, Large eye sewing needle

Gauge: 4 sts, 6 rounds = 1 inch

Notes: Two strands of yarn are used throughout the pattern. The Cozy is worked in the round from the bottom up.

 

Directions:

With 2 strands of yarn held together, CO 66 inches.

Join, being careful not to twist the stitches. PM.
