Shoulder shaping

Shoulder Shaping

Right Front
Join yarn at armhole and beginning on WS, BO 3 sts
Continue as for Left Front, reversing all shaping. Omit all buttonholes after Row 1 of V-neck shaping
Finishing
Sew shoulder seams
Neck Band
Slip sts from a holder and work in pattern for ˝ the length of the back neck BO. Rep for other holder. Sew into place and weave ends together.
Armhole bands
With 2 strands of yarn and circular needles pick up 102 sts around armhole. Place marker on needle. Join.

Buttons (make 8)
With 1 stand of yarn CO 3 sts
Row 1: inc in each sts (6 sts0
Rows 2,4: knit
Row 3: purl
Row 5: p2tog across (3 sts)
Cut yarn leaving an 8 inch length. Thread sewing needle and draw through stitches on needle. Then pick up every other stitch on left side, bottom and right side. Draw tightly into circle. Tie and sew into place.
Weave in yarn ends.
